THE Secretary of State for Health will spend time with Conservative councillors in Portsmouth on Friday.

Jeremy Hunt will meet with politicians including Conservative deputy group leader Donna Jones to talk about health problems in the city and what can be done to improve things.

Cllr Jones said: ‘I want to discuss with him the systemic health issues in Portsmouth and ideas for how to improve them. With public health budgets coming under local government control for the first time from Aril 2013, the timing of this visit is key.’
