MEMBERS of a volunteer mental health group met hospital staff to discuss how they can help patients recover.

Give, Gain and Grow, a group overseen by Gosport Voluntary Action, visited staff at the Hewat Centre in Gosport War Memorial Hospital, Bury Road in Gosport.

The mutual support group helps people work together to recover from mental health issues, such as depression or anxiety.

The volunteers met the hospital on February 5, along with staff from Gosport Voluntary Action.

And they yesterday received donations of stationery, including pens, pencils and exercise books, following an appeal reported in The News.

Items will be sent to pupils in schools in Kosovo.

Visit the group at its weekly Wednesday meeting from 11am to 1pm at the RNA Club Lounge in Fareham Road.
