THE Annual General Meetings of the four primary care trusts that buy in healthcare for Portsmouth and Hampshire are to take place next week.
The AGMs take place on Monday, September 24, in Southampton – and will be the last as Clinical Commissioning Groups are set to take over from next April.
The meetings start from 12.30pm where the 2011/12 annual reports of the four PCTs will be presented – giving an overview of their achievements during the past year, followed by the annual accounts.
People will be able to ask questions, before Ship cluster chairman Professor Jonathon Montgomery closes the meeting.
The AGMs will be immediately followed by a board meeting of the Ship cluster, which runs until 4.30pm at the same venue.
Professor Montgomery said: ‘This is the end of an era for the local NHS and the four primary care trusts serving the residents of Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.’
The agenda and papers for the AGMs and board meetings can be found at southamptonhealth.nhs.uk/ship/home/.
