A CHRISTMAS ‘Tweetfest’ has been organised by an ambulance trust so people can find out more about the service and its staff.
South East Coast Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SECAmb) is holding the event next month.
Each day between Monday, December 17, and Friday, December 21, the trust will tweet on its account about a different part of the service.
In addition, ahead of the Tweetfest week, SECAmb will be ‘opening a window’ of its Twitter advent calendar in which a photo of a different member of staff and their role will be tweeted each day from tomorrow.
Finally on Christmas Day, SECAmb will begin its 12 days of Christmas messages, where each day it will tweet a piece of advice to help keep people safe over Christmas.
Janine Compton, head of communications, said: ‘We hope our plans on Twitter throughout December will give the public a real insight into the way a modern ambulance service works.’
