ASHYA King’s brother has been allowed to see him in hospital, according to reports.
The Southsea five-year-old’s oldest brother Danny has been allowed to visit his brother in a Spanish hospital.
Ashya, who has a brain tumour, was separated from his family after his parents were arrested and hauled before a Spanish court.
Brett and Naghemeh, from Southsea, were arrested on Saturday after they took Ashya from Southampton General Hospital and travelled across the continent on Thursday.
The family had a dispute with doctors over the boy’s care and wanted to take him for Proton Beam Therapy for his tumour. The treatment is not widely available on the NHS.
Danny told BBC radio: ‘The whole family is just concentrating on Ashya.
‘It’s quite hard in my family because we’re quite a tight family.’
Ashya’s parents face another extradition hearing today and are unable to visit their ill son.
Their lawyer said they will start legal action against Southampton General Hospital, according to the Daily Mirror.
Meanwhile the Crown Prosecution Service said the case is under ‘immediate review’ – meaning new evidence is being looked at.
