Challenge on zipline for Naomi House cash

FANCY zipping through the sky at up to 100mph?

The Naomi House children’s hospice zipline challenge will take place in Snowdonia, Wales.

There are two courses to choose from for the event on September 5.

The ‘little zipper’ takes participants to the bottom of the quarry, reaching speeds of up to 40mph.

The ‘big zipper’ is a mile-long and can reach speeds of up to 100mph.

Participants will be supplied with a wind and shower proof flying suit, helmet, goggles and all the training needed to safely complete the descent.

The challenge is the first major event to be announced in support of the hospice’s Caterpillar Appeal.

As reported, the charity is aiming to raise £4m to refurbish the hospice.

The hospice has 48 places available for the zipline and demand is expected to be high.

Anyone wishing to take part is asked to pay a £40 registration fee and raise a minimum of £200 in sponsorship.
