Chance to ask cancer specialists questions

MACMILLAN Cancer Support’s mobile service is heading this way.

No appointment is needed to chat to staff who offer free, confidential, advice and support to anyone with a concern or a question relating to cancer.

Amanda Cummings, from Macmillan, said: ‘More than 6,540 people in the Hampshire PCT receive a cancer diagnosis every year, and each of these people require support.

‘They need more than medical help, they also need practical, emotional and financial support. Cancer is the toughest fight many people will ever face, and the feelings of isolation and loneliness that so many people experience make it even harder.

‘But you don’t have to go through it alone. The Macmillan team is with you every step of the way, if you have any worries or questions about cancer, whether it’s about yourself, a relative or friend.’

The mobile unit will be in Bulbeck Road, Havant, on March 18 from 9.30am to 4.30pm and Fareham town centre on March 19.

Or go to macmillan.org.uk.
