Deafness team to visit national statistics office

EXPERTS from a national deaf charity will pay a visit to the Office for National Statistics in Fareham tomorrow.

Deafness Research UK experts will provide free hearing screening and deliver facts and figures about good ear health to staff. The charity, which is sponsored by BUPA and the Big Lottery Fund, offers free screenings and advice to businesses, schools and exhibitions throughout the country to encourage regular checks.

The screenings take no longer than 15 minutes and six people can be screened at a time. Anyone who would like to have a screening team visit their organisation, community group, or event should contact Laura Turner on (020) 7164 2294.
