KEEN fundraiser David Rodrigues likes to involve his children in his activities so they can see the importance of charity work.

So the 39-year-old, of Clarence Road, Southsea, took part in two fundraisers for The Rowans Hospice.

The first involved his daughter Olivia, eight, as the pair took part in the 5k Race for Rowan route.

And then, dressed as Spider-Man, Mr Rodrigues abseiled down Spinnaker Tower – despite suffering from vertigo.

He said: ‘The highlight was stepping out on to the platform and being presented with the most breathtaking view of Southsea that is only witnessed by a select few.’

The pair have a target of £500, visit justgiving.com/spinnakertowerabseil2014
