Help halt Norovirus by keeping good hygiene

HEALTH bosses are urging people to help tackle the winter Norovirus by keeping up good hygiene practices.

The interim director of public health for Portsmouth, Dr Ruth Milton, has given advice to members of the public on how to keep the sickness at bay.

She said: ‘It’s estimated around 900,000 people nationally have had Norovirus this season, but locally we’ve not been affected any more severely than elsewhere in the UK.
