Help to keep resolutions

NEW year’s resolutions to ourselves usually involve getting fit, losing weight, cutting down drinking and stopping smoking – but most of us don’t make it past January.

This year, the NHS has a range of expert help and advice to make 2014 your healthiest year yet.

Dr Barbara Rushton, chairwoman of NHS South Eastern Hampshire Clinical Commissioning Group, said: ‘Deciding to improve your lifestyle can seem a bit daunting, but making the decision to change is often the most difficult bit.

‘Help from your local NHS is always on hand as you take steps to improve your physical health.’
