THE trust that runs Queen Alexandra Hospital is saying thank you to all its volunteers for their work in 2012.
Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust (PHT) is extending the message to its army of around 800 helpers.
Paula Taylor, voluntary and inclusion manager for PHT, said: ‘The hospital volunteers are key to our success as they are often the first people a visitor will meet and can make a real difference by providing a warm welcome.
‘We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our volunteers for their time, energy and dedication to the hospital.’
