Medical detection dog to visit support group

A DOG that is able to sniff out certain medical changes in a person will be at a support group.

The Drayton and Farlington diabetes support group is due to meet on Wednesday at the Church of the Resurrection Hall, in Penrhyn Avenue, from 2pm to 4pm.

A doctor from Brighton will be a guest speaker.

There will also be a dog from Medical Detection Dogs.

The firm trains dogs so they are able to sense when there is a medical change in a person, perhaps because of diabetes.

Diabetics and their friends and family are invited to the meeting.

Entry costs £2.
