A COURSE is being run to prevent older people from falling over.
Nurses from Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust have been running a 12-week course, led by nurses.
The latest was in Petersfield.
The trust said that falls are more common for older people and the consequences of breaking a leg or hip bone can lead to loss of independence and mobility as well as confidence.
During the course, people learn to gain strength and skill so they don’t fall over.
