CHILDREN in Hampshire can get a letter from Father Christmas and raise money for charity.

Diabetes UK run the Letters from Santa appeal, where families can arrange for their child to get post from the North Pole.

Every letter is personalised, and comes with an activity booklet, a photograph of Father Christmas’ reindeer and a certificate of their child’s good behaviour, which costs £4.99. Of that, £2 goes to Diabetes UK.

Nicola Musk, regional fundraising manager, said: ‘Receiving a personalised letter from Santa is a great way to get into the spirit.

‘As well as adding a little festive magic to your child’s Christmas, it will also mean you are supporting us.
