MOTHERS have rated the maternity services in the Portsmouth area highly, according to a survey.
The second questionnaire looking at maternity services has been released by the Care Quality Commission.
It revealed all of the maternity services run by Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust, in charge of Queen Alexandra Hospital in Cosham, scored either eight or nine points out of 10, on the labour and birth; staff and care in hospital after the birth.
Gill Walton, director of midwifery, said: ‘Women’s satisfaction and confidence with maternity services remains a high priority for the trust and we welcome the CQC’s survey.
‘To improve, it’s important to understand what our mothers think about their care and treatment.’
