Grants of up to £2,500 are being offered to individuals, projects and groups to help them improve the wellbeing of their local communities.

Healthwatch Hampshire, the consumer champion for health and social care in the county, has launched the Community Cash Fund to invest in small grassroots projects and groups.

Interested groups or individuals will need to complete an application form by July 3 and will hear by the middle of July if they have been successful.

The Healthwatch Hampshire team is keen to receive requests for funding to support projects that help hard to reach and seldom-heard groups.

There is no need for the group to be a registered charity or official group.

And the projects do not have to be expensive and complicated.
