AN AIR ambulance charity is reminding people to donate unwanted clothes at one of its clothing banks.

The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance works with recycling partner Bag It Up, which collects unwanted shoes and textiles and then converts them into money for the charity.

The charity clothes banks are bright yellow, and can be found across the county.

Air ambulance chief executive John Perry said ‘We would like to remind people that supporting your air ambulance can be achieved in many ways and just by choosing to use our textile banks to recycle your clothing is a great place to start.’

Two new banks can be found in the Wightlink Ferry car park, Gunwharf Quays, and at Lakeside, Northarbour, both in Portsmouth.
