PEOPLE are being invited to the launch of a new course that will help manage mental health conditions.

The Solent Recovery College is a joint effort by Solent NHS Trust, Portsmouth City Council, the Richmond Fellowship and Highbury College.

The service is open to anyone with a mental health difficulty in the city.

It focuses on education and developing sessions to help manage recovery – offering hope, coping skills and practical skills, so people can be independent.

The launch takes place on Monday, September 23, from 11am to 3pm, at Highbury City of Portsmouth Centre, in Winston Churchill Avenue, Portsmouth.

Refreshments will be available.
