A NEW deputy chief officer has been appointed for Hampshire Fire and Rescue service.

Neil Odin will begin his role from the start of 2015.

He said: ‘I’m delighted to form a part of the new strong leadership team.’

He will take over from Chief Dave Curry, who is replacing outgoing Chief Officer John Bonney.

Mr Curry said: ‘Neil’s new role will be important and influential in ensuring the Hampshire public is served by a high performing service.’
