RADIOTHERAPY staff at Queen Alexandra Hospital are due to stage a walkout on Monday.

Members of the Society of Radiographers are taking industrial action from 9am to 1pm in a row over pay.

Emergency and urgent care will continue to be provided but pre-booked appointments and procedures may be affected. Staff will then work to rule for the rest of the week.

Members said they are striking due to a row over a pay increase. On Monday 400,000 NHS workers downed tools protesting against a government proposal of only a one per cent increase in wages.
