VOLUNTEERS are needed for a health focus group.

Dr Glenys Jones, from Association for Nutrition, wants people for Thursday.

The Public Health England commissioned study is creating standards for people in fitness and catering.

Dr Jones said: ‘So that these standards are pitched at the right levels and cover the appropriate topics, we are undertaking research into people’s knowledge and training in nutrition.’

The sessions are aimed at everyone in fitness and catering, including waiting staff, kitchen porters and chefs, and Sunday football coaches, walking club volunteers, personal trainers and dance teachers.

She added: ‘I want to make sure the voice of people in Portsmouth is strong in this research.’
