Have your say

DRESS up like your favourite crime-fighting superhero and raise money for an ambulance charity at the same time.

St John Ambulance is inviting people to organise a September Superhero Stroll or take part in a Superhero Skydive.

People can gather their friends, colleagues, classmates or community group and organise an event for September, in line with the charity’s annual Save A Life campaign.

Those taking part are being encouraged to wear whatever superhero outfit they can, either a full-on costume, or just a mask.

Mia Broughton, regional fundraising coordinator, said: ‘We believe nothing is more tragic than a life lost needlessly. That’s why we’re dedicated to equipping as many people as possible with the skills to be the difference between life and death.

‘But to do that we need donations and people to support us through fundraising events such as this. The more money we raise, the more people we can help.’
