CHILDREN at two wards in Queen Alexandra Hospital were treated to an afternoon pantomime show.
Charity Starlight carries out 97 festive performances in hospitals across the country, and yesterday stopped off at Cosham.
This year’s production was Dick Whittington, which took place in a classroom inside the hospital.
The hour-long performance was enjoyed by parents and children alike.
Young Abigail Gorman, seven, of Mays Lane, Stubbington, has been in QA for two nights suffering from pneumonia.
She said: ‘I really liked it when the cat was chasing the rat. It made me laugh and made my stay in hospital a lot more fun.’
And Jake Brown, five, of Malta Road, North End, has been in hospital because of unexplained weight loss.
He said: ‘I liked it when I said “boo”.’
