NHS Hampshire is urging people to stay cool during the warm weather.

The call comes after a number of people were treated for dehydration at Queen Alexandra Hospital, in Cosham.

Dr Stuart Ward, medical director for the Southampton, Hampshire, Isle of Wight and Portsmouth PCT Cluster, said: ‘Avoid prolonged exposure to the sun, wear high-protection sun cream and have cool drinks regularly.’
