SESSIONS on lip reading and how to manage hearing loss are due to start again in Portsmouth.
The free classes are run by Maggie Short and are held at the Pompey Study Centre, in Anson Way, Fratton.
Places are available on the 11.30am to 1.30pm sessions that start again on Thursday, January 16.
Maggie said: ‘Deafness is the most isolating disability, and people give up work too early and withdraw from life when it becomes just too difficult to hear what people are saying.
‘As well as the theory of lip reading, we cover coping and communication tactics for when in difficult situations.’
