PORTSMOUTH has been visited by members of a national health forum that is learning more about how better to serve patients.

Representatives from the NHS Future Forum toured three of Portsmouth’s Healthy Living pharmacies, which offer services such as stop-smoking groups, weight-loss advice, and helping to cut back on alcohol.

Goldchem, in Albert Road, Southsea, was one of the pharmacies visited.

Manager Rita Majithia said: ‘The Healthy Living Pharmacy scheme has been so successful that many other areas are looking to replicate it.’
