COMBATANTS will don pink to fight breast cancer at an upcoming fundraiser.

Fareham Leisure Centre will host a Pink Combatathon on October 5 to raise money for the charity Breast Cancer Care.

Non-contact body combat exercise classes will take place from 2pm to 5.30pm.

Organiser Cathie Bolwell said: ‘It’s a form of exercise involving kicks and punches.

‘We won’t be hitting each other, I hope.’

Salisbury-based singing group Evolution will take to the stage at the fundraiser’s evening session from 7pm to 11pm.

It will cost £10 to £15 to take part and participants are encouraged to wear pink.
