PRESENTATIONS from a diabetic consultant will be given at the next set of public constituency meetings.

The meetings – run by Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust’s Council of Governors – will see a consultant from the diabetes department give a presentation on the condition and diabetes services.

Constituency meetings are held twice a year to let people share their opinion of Queen Alexandra Hospital, Cosham, which is run by the trust.

Company secretary Peter Mellor said: ‘These meetings are a useful tool to find out from our members and the public what they think needs to be changed or developed.’

Meetings take place in the following places: November 1, Thorngate Hall, Bury Road, Gosport, from 2.30pm to 4.30pm; November 2, Lecture Theatre, Education Centre, QAH, Cosham, from 7pm to 9pm; November 7, Leigh Park Community Centre, Dunsbury Way, Leigh Park, from 1pm to 3pm; and November 9, Ferneham Hall, in Osborn Road, Fareham, from 7pm to 9pm.
