‘We shared stories and memories of our time, some even dating back to 1977.’

Colin Beevor, rheumatology matron and service manager, praised Jude for her hard work.

‘For Jude there is no “typical” day – she is always ahead of the game, planning her and her team’s workload in advance, even if that means staying back or getting in early,’ he said.

‘She enjoys her job as there is never a dull moment.

‘With 40 years’ experience she is able to use her contacts to enhance patient care and experience.’
