A CHARITY has raised £520 in a 24-hour drawing challenge fundraiser for its 40th anniversary.
Off The Record, based in Purbrook Way, Havant, took part in the world’s largest national drawing festival, The Big Draw.
The event saw 60 people come together to take part in drawing postcards, which were later auctioned off for £60, with £45 being raised from donations and £415 from JustGiving.
The event was well received, with one committee member saying it was a ‘wonderful day with energy and passion’.
Another supporter said that ‘mental health is a subject close to my heart’ and lauded the event as a ‘fab fundraising effort’ with ‘great work being done by Off The Record and all those that benefit from the service’.
The final figure totalled £781.03.
Off The Record offers free counselling and support to people aged between 11 and 25, and you can contact the charity on (023) 9278 5999 or on the website at otr-south.org.uk
