READER’S LETTER: ‘QA staff were so professional and nothing was too much trouble’

Last week I collapsed at home. My wife called an ambulance and within six minutes a rapid response car was here.

Several tests were carried out and an ambulance was requsted to take me to Queen Alexandra Hospital.

Fifteen minutes later the ambulance arrived and took me to accident and emergency.

I was attended to almost immediately and a full ‘MoT’ was carried out.

I was transferred to orange MAU and the tests, care and treatment continued.

I must say that doctors, nurses and staff were excellent. They were professional and kind and nothing was too much trouble.

What would we do without the NHS?

I cannot speak too highly of the service I received. Thank you all.
