A KIND-HEARTED girl had her luscious locks chopped off and donated them to a charity that makes wigs for children suffering from hair loss.
Not only has 12-year-old Rebecca Young donated her hair to Little Princess Trust to make a wig, she has raised over £1,100 in donations for the charity too.
Rebecca, from Locks Heath, had 14in of hair cut at Mr Menz Hairdressers in Sarisbury Green, on Saturday.
Rebecca, a Year 8 pupil at Brookfield Secondary School, said: ‘I wanted to do something special to help other people this Christmas. My hair has grown since I was five years old, and so I thought about having it cut in aid of a wonderful charity who make such a difference for young girls who are suffering with illness.’
