LEARN more about eating well and having a healthy lifestyle at a free course.

Healthy Hearts is an initiative started by Learning Links and paid for by the Portsmouth Clinical Commissioning Group.

It has been designed to help residents living in Portsmouth to improve their health and wellbeing with a few simple, but key lifestyle changes.

Each course takes place over six weeks with one session per week lasting two 
hours.

These sessions are free to attend.

Participants get to learn about the impacts of poor diet on the body, the negative effects of smoking and alcohol, as well as learning hands-on approaches to tackling stress, getting more active and preparing quick, easy and delicious healthy meals.

The next courses take place on the following dates:

n Southsea Community Centre, St Paul’s Square, King Street, 10am to midday, starting on November 21.

n Learning Links, St George’s Square, Portsea, 10am to midday, starting December 3.
