THE Spinnaker Tower lit up orange as part of an awareness day.
The Portsmouth attraction took part in World Osteoporosis Day which raises awareness for the condition affecting bones, causing them to become weak and brittle.
The National Osteoporosis Society asked the tower to shine orange and was delighted when they agreed.
Fizz Thomson, clinical director for the charity, said: ‘World Osteoporosis Day is essential to raise awareness and we are working hard to raise awareness of bone health across all age groups.
‘The people of Portsmouth can look at the tower and see our colours.’
The Spinnaker Tower turned orange on Friday and there was a health fair held in Gosport too.
Margo Berry, from the event, said: ‘The atmosphere was fantastic.’
