ORGANISERS of a hospital appeal are inviting people to join them for a musical spectacular to raise funds.

An afternoon of live music will take place at the Portsmouth Guildhall in aid of The Rocky Appeal.

The fundraising is to help raise £3m to fund state-of-the-art digital keyhole operating theatres at Queen Alexandra Hospital, Cosham.

To help the appeal, the Milton Glee Club and Hampshire Constabulary Band are set to join forces.

Mick Lyons, The Rocky Appeal coordinator, said: ‘It will be a fantastic afternoon. It’s been an event we’ve done before and it’s been a big success.

‘It’s really important we get these theatres at QA. They will be a lasting legacy for future generations.’

The musical fundraiser will take place on May 22, at 3pm.

To buy tickets, which range from £6 to £11, call Mick Lyons on (023) 9228 6487.
