STAFF and pupils at schools and companies across the area are being encouraged to take part in an annual charity drive to raise cash for the Hampshire Autistic Society.

The Big Sock Swap will take place on Friday, June 15.

The idea is that people swap their boring everyday socks for the brightest, most colourful, silly pair they can find and make a donation to the society.

To take part people can display posters in advance and then send in photographs to the charity.
