SALES from bouquets of flowers in a supermarket chain in Hampshire will help raise funds for Diabetes UK.

Tesco will donate 50p from each of the bouquets, to its national charity partner.

The charity bouquet, which costs £10, includes orange roses and gerberas, pink carnations, purple statice and white chrysanthemums.

Susan Locke, mixed bouquet buyer for Tesco said: ‘We are delighted to be supporting Diabetes UK through the sale of these flowers.

‘The bouquet includes a beautiful mix of flowers and could be a perfect gift to say thank you to teachers for all their hard work at the end of the school year.’

The flowers can be bought from stores across the region..
