THE Crown Prosecution Service has decided not to prosecute three people in relation to the death of a woman at St Richard’s Hospital, Chichester.

A 24-year-old woman from Chichester, a 42-year-old man from Emsworth and a 38-year-old man from Chichester were due to answer bail this week in connection with the death of Joan Dixon.

Mrs Dixon, 77, of Findon High Street, Findon, died at St Richard’s on Tuesday, October 19, 2010. The hospital staff were initially arrested on suspicion of manslaughter.

However, a Sussex Police spokeswoman said all three had been released without charge following a CPS decision.
