FREE blood pressure checks were carried out by members of a rotary club.

Members of the Rotary Club of Cosham, with the help of nurses from The Rowans Hospice, were in Cosham High Street.

They invited members of the public to have their blood pressure checked.

Four people were recommended to see their doctor within a week, and a further 13 advised to see their doctor within a month.

The club provides the service once a year in its support to try and reduce the risk of individuals suffering a stroke because of high blood pressure.
