A HOSPITAL trust has been listed in the top 40 for providing clinical excellence.
For the fourth year, Western Sussex Hospitals NHS Trust – which runs St Richard’s Hospital, in Chichester – has been commended for showing high standards.
The accolade has been given by independent provider of healthcare quality improvement services company Chks.
Trust chairman Mike Viggers said: ‘This award is all about our staff, and I was delighted to be able to accept it on their behalf.
‘I hope all of the 6,500 people who work for the trust feel justifiably proud about their contribution towards making this trust one of the best there is.’
The trust was measured on 23 criteria points.
