TWO more local sessions have been added for people to donate blood.

NHS Blood and Transplant, which organises donor sessions, said stocks of O-negative and B-negative blood groups, are at their lowest level for four years.

Donors with blood group O-negative are typically known as the ‘universal donor’ as their blood can be given to patients with a different group.

Here are the latest sessions:

n Monday, March 24, Wickham Community Centre, in Mill Lane, Wickham, from 1.30pm to 3.25pm, and 4.30pm to 7.30pm.

n Tuesday, March 25, Victory Hall, Warsash Road, Warsash, from 2pm to 4.30pm, and 5.20pm to 8pm.
