A VOLUNTEER has been praised for the work she does as a driver.

Anne Gunston, from Fareham, has won the Retail Volunteer of the Year Award from the British Heart Foundation (BHF).

She scooped the accolade for being a volunteer driver for the Fareham branch of the BHF store in West Street.

She said: ‘I’m very happy to have been given such a prestigious title as there are so many volunteers who give their time to the BHF and have done so for many years.’
