DONORS are urged to roll up their sleeves and help save lives by donating blood.

NHS Blood and Transplant is holding blood donor sessions in our area next month.

And organisers are appealing for more people to take part and help boost blood stocks.

Sessions are to be held at St Swithun’s Church in Waverley Road, Southsea, from 1.30pm to 3.25pm and 4.30pm to 7.30pm on September 18.

Volunteers can also visit the Memorial Hall in High Street, Hamble, from 1.30pm to 3.25pm and 4.30pm to 7.30pm on September 20.

Residents can take part in two alternative sessions at Cosham Community Centre in Wootton Street.

The sessions will be held from 1.30pm to 3.25pm and 4.30pm to 7.30pm on September 21.
