PEOPLE are being called upon to vote for a charity appeal raising money for a hi-tech surgical robot.

The Rocky Appeal could receive up to £25,000 from the Aviva Community Fund if it gets enough votes.

The appeal is raising money for the Da Vinci robot which performs non-invasive keyhole surgeries on hard-to-reach parts of the body.

It is used at Queen Alexandra Hospital, in Cosham, which needs to raise £365,000 to pay off the American company the machine is leased from.

People do not need to be an Aviva customer to vote and anyone who does will be put in for a prize draw to win a range of prizes. To vote the Rocky Appeal visit avivacommunityfund.co.uk/voting/project/view/17-3756.
