THE warm weather is set to continue but weather warnings are in place for Portsmouth as we move towards the weekend.

The temperature is not expected to reach above 20C, but will stay at around that mark for most of the day.
Friday will be sunny and warm in the morning, but there are weather warnings of thunderstorms in the evening.
There is the potential for some torrential downpours and possible localised surface water flooding, with large hail and frequent lightning also possible hazards.
The Met Office warning read: ‘The public should be aware that there is a chance of some very localised significant disruption.’
Weather warnings continue into Saturday, but conditions are expected to clear up by lunchtime.
No warnings are currently in place for the rest of the weekend, and on Sunday the weather is expected to be cloudy with some sunny spells.
