AN ADULT literacy group is in for a chance of winning £3,000.

Read and Grow, based in Gosport, has been shortlisted in the Lloyds Bank Community Fund 2013.

Now it needs members of the public to vote for it as it competes against other charitable organisations.

As reported, the group, run by Andy Paradise, sees a coach and learner pair up.

The two use a book, called Yes We Can Read, and the coach does not need any training.
