A film workshop for people with learning disabilities has started and the centre it is being held at is looking for volunteers to help.

Nine residents from West Street, Cosham, have started working on a 15-week workshop to create a film about the Olympics.

The scheme is called The West Street Project, and workshops are being held at the Omega Centre, in Omega Road, Somers Town from 5pm to 7pm on Thursday evenings.

It is being run by the Portsmouth Film Society and the Workers Education Association, who are looking for media or film students to support the adults by helping to operate cameras and sound equipment.
