A Portsmouth library is marking Holocaust Memorial Day with an exhibition and display.

North End Museum, in Gladys Avenue, is promoting books and stories from historians and survivors of the Holocaust, up to January 31.

Holocaust Memorial Day is held on January 27, to remember victims of the Nazi genocide, and those whose lives were changed beyond recognition by persecution beforehand and afterwards.

This year's memorial day topic is 'Untold Stories', in which people will share their experience, or experiences told to them by others, of oppression and suffering.
