FIREFIGHTERS from Horndean took on the challenge in their full uniform.
The group ran the course to raise vital cash for tot Willow Scotney-Williams.
The two-year-old needs stem cell treatment to help her see for the first time.
But Willow’s parents need to raise £25,000 to take her to China for the treatment.
Willow was born 10 weeks prematurely and was diagnosed with a brain haemorrhage and water on the brain shortly afterwards. She had nine operations and spent the first six months of her life in hospital.
Her mum and dad Jamie Williams, 26, and Gemma Scotney, 29, have already raised more than £7,000.
But the firefighters wanted to do their bit too. And they surpassed their expectations of raising £1,000 – by coining in £2,500.
